Finding new ways to use ingredients I always have on hand is one of my favorite things to do, which is how this yogurt fruit dip recipe was born!

I like to start with flavor combinations that always work well together, like yogurt and vanilla, and then experiment with another favorite — like cinnamon. Yum!

Adding yogurt and fruit dip to your healthy snack will make it a little more filling without adding any unhealthy ingredients.

Using honey instead of sugar is a natural way to cut back on processed ingredients while keeping your sweet tooth satisfied!

How To Make Yogurt Fruit Dip

A full printable version of this recipe with ingredient measurements is available at the bottom of this post.

STEP ONE: Measure out your yogurt using dry measuring cups, not a wet measuring cup. Even though yogurt is a ‘wet’ ingredient, it is important to level off the top of your yogurt to ensure an accurate amount.

STEP TWO: Measure the honey using the same ¼ cup measure as your yogurt. This will allow the honey to slide out of the cup more easily once measured. Gently stir in the vanilla and cinnamon with the yogurt and honey. Do not overmix, as this may affect the thickness of the yogurt.

STEP THREE: Serve yogurt fruit dip right away or refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 5 days.

How Do You Fix Crystallized Honey?

Don’t worry if your honey has crystallized — you can still use it! Return it to a smoother consistency by gently heating your honey in a pan of hot (not boiling) water.

Just place your glass jar of honey in enough hot water to reach the level of honey and let it sit for several minutes.

Let it cool slightly before mixing it with your yogurt.

Can I Use Regular Yogurt Instead Of Greek Yogurt?

You can use regular yogurt in this recipe, but the consistency of your dip will not be as thick.

Thinner dip will be more likely to run off of your fruit, while thicker dip stays in place, creating less mess.

Regular yogurt also contains more natural sugars than Greek yogurt, but adding honey to the Greek yogurt creates a flavorful combination of tangy and sweet!

What Spices Can I Add To Yogurt Fruit Dip?

I love the combination of cinnamon and vanilla, but you can use any spices you like!

Whether you substitute different spices for the cinnamon or add to it, trust your tastebuds and get creative.

Some spices to try include ginger, a pumpkin pie spice blend, or even turmeric.

You may want to consider eliminating the vanilla if you’re going to play with the spices, but don’t eliminate the honey.

How Long Does Yogurt Fruit Dip Last?

Keep this dip in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Because it is dairy-based, it must stay chilled.

You can also make this yogurt fruit dip recipe ahead of time! Mix it up a day or two before your event, then give it a quick stir before serving to your guests.

This will blend in any moisture from the yogurt that may have separated and also give your yogurt fruit dip a fresh, whipped appearance.

What Fruit Goes Best With Yogurt Dip?

This yogurt fruit dip recipe can be paired with any fruit you like! Strawberries, bananas, blueberries, apples, kiwi, grapes, mango… even pineapple.

The list goes on and on! The honey, cinnamon, and vanilla flavors complement any fruit.

Frozen fruit can also be used with my dip. If you’re entertaining, create small fruit kabobs with frozen fruit and cocktail skewers: your guests will love it!
