- Accessory Kit
- Silicone Tongs
- Long Oven Mitts
- Cake Pan
- Cupcake Liners
- Basting Brushes
- Rolling Tray for under air fryer
The Best Air Fryer Accessories
Parchment Paper
You may be wondering if you should use parchment paper in your air fryer. The answer is yes, you should! If you’ve been cooking with this appliance for some time, you know that cleaning up can sometimes be difficult.
Not all parchment paper is created equal, and I love this set of 100. It comes in several different sizes which range from 6-inches to 8.5-inches. It’s also made from non-toxic materials which is a must. It’s perforated with holes and is specially designed to use with your air fryer. This is one accessory you don’t want to skip!
While parchment paper is used mainly for easy clean-up in 98% of air frying, it’s crucial when cooking foods like Air Fryer French Toast Sticks and Air Fryer Hush Puppies because of their wetter batter.
Can I cut normal parchment paper and use a hole punch instead? Yes, but it is SO time-consuming and these sheets are so inexpensive, they’re 100% worth it.
EVO Oil Mister
To get the best results when air frying, you’ll frequently need some sort of method to spritz your food with oil. You can learn more about when to use oil in your air fryer here, but let’s talk about what I recommend.
This is the ONLY brand of oil spritzers I currently recommend. I have used a Misto in the past, but find the EVO Oil Sprayer does the best consistent job and doesn’t get gunked up like most other brands.
This oil mister from EVO will make your life easier! Spray the perfect amount of oil, evenly, every time. It’s also refillable, made from non-toxic materials, and features a fan spray. Adjust the nozzle to spray vertically or horizontally, whatever works best in your air fryer!
Remember to be careful about what types of oil you use. If you want to use olive oil, opt for a light version that has a higher smoke point than extra virgin.
I use my EVO Oil Sprayer constantly and it works wonderfully to make foods like Air Fryer Ravioli and Air Fryer Mahi Mahi taste just like deep fried.
Silicone Basket
This is one of the ultimate accessories for an air fryer when you’re looking for easy cleanup! Like parchment paper, this silicone basket will protect your air fryer from any food residue. You can forget about washing your air fryer’s basket each time you use it since the silicone basket also helps drain any excess oil from your meal.
This air fryer attachment features straight lines (for even easier clean up), is dishwasher safe, and promotes even heat distribution. It’s made from high-quality, medical-grade silicone, so you don’t need to worry about any harmful chemicals getting into your food.
Instant-Read Thermometer
One thing that you need to be careful about when using your air fryer to cook meat is to make sure that it’s cooked all the way through. You’ll likely get a hang of it after a few tries, but you can never be too careful!
Using an Instant-Read Thermometer means you’ll never second guess whether your meal is cooked through again. And, it’s a universal accessory that can be used with any cooking method.
This thermometer works in just 3-seconds so you can help keep the heat in the air fryer when cooking. It’s waterproof, compact, and features a large LED screen that is easy to read. You can also use it to determine if your meat is overcooked – which can be just as frustrating!
Please note: If you have an air fryer that has a temperature probe, like the Ninja Foodi Smart XL Air Fryer Oven, you do not need an Instant-Read Thermometer as that will work in the same way.

Silicone Liners
The better you protect your air fryer from food debris, the longer it will last. Plus, who doesn’t want an easier clean-up? If you want to avoid parchment paper, you’ll appreciate these silicone liners. They are heat resistant, feature a perforated design to promote airflow, and are food-safe – and a lot more eco-friendly than the parchment rounds.
You have the choice between two sizes: 7.5-inch for small and medium-sized air fryers, and 8.5-inch for larger models.
Silicone liners work similar to parchment rounds and are very helpful for foods like Air Fryer Apple Fritters and Air Fryer Cinnamon Rolls.
Accessory Kit
If you’re looking for an air fryer accessory kit with everything you might need and more, you’ve found it! This pack of 6 different accessories includes a cake pan, pizza pan, metal holder, multi-purpose rack with 5 skewers, a silicone mat, and an egg bites mold with a lid. You can make anything you can imagine when you invest in this air fryer accessory kit!
Choose between 3.7QT or 5.8QT sizes depending on the size of your model. All materials are non-toxic and food-safe.
I have the 5.8QT size and have used these for Air Fryer Tater Tot Nachos and more!
Silicone Tongs
Silicone tongs are another one of these must-have air fryer accessories you’ll want to have in your kitchen. These are made from high-quality silicone and stainless steel, are rust-proof and are comfortable to use.
This set of silicone tongs comes with two tongs, one 9-inch, and one 12-inch. Both sizes are designed to fit well in your hand. When you’re done using them, these tongs feature a locking mechanism for easy storage!
Why silicone tongs? Most air fryers are coated with a non-stick surface so using metal tongs can cause that to chip off. Silicone is much softer and won’t hurt your air fryer surface.
Long Oven Mitts
Air Fryers get hot and I can’t tell you how many people have said they’ve gotten burned because they don’t use these mitts.
The heat-resistant silicone material on these long oven mitts will protect you from temperatures as high as 450 degrees F. You’ll enjoy extra protection thanks to the length of the oven mitts, which are 14.7-inches long. They are also textured which will give you a better grip.
Unlike traditional oven mitts that absorb moisture, these long oven mitts are steam-resistant. Plus, they’re machine washable and come in several different stylish colors!
I just grab out the cake pan or other air fryer piece I’m using with the mitts on and I know my hands and forearms are safe from burns!
Cake Pan
Baking is so easy with an air fryer, and if you use this special cake pan for air fryers, clean-up will be too. It fits perfectly in models ranging in size from 3.4 to 10-quarts. It is made from 16-gauge anodized aluminum which means it will never peel or rust!
This cake pan is made from non-toxic materials without any added chemicals.
Cupcake Liners
These silicone cupcake liners are reusable and air fryer safe! Plus, you can just stick them right in the air fryer without a cupcake tin because they hold their shape wonderfully! If you were to use normal cupcake liners, they would fold out and just cause a mess.
On account of the silicone, you don’t have to worry about adding any extra oil or butter for easy food release. These cupcake liners are 1.38-inches high and fit in all standard muffin pans. Choose between a pack of 12 or 24, both of which come in a variety of colors.
Don’t stop at cupcakes – you can make lots of other bite-sized treats with these liners like mini muffins or egg frittatas!
Basting Brushes
You’ll notice that many of the best air fryer accessories on this list are made from silicone. That’s because this material can withstand high temperatures and is also very easy to clean! These silicone basting brushes are a lifesaver for brushing oils, sauces, and marinades on your air fryer meals.
Made from non-toxic and food-grade silicone, you won’t have to worry about food staining or bristles that can fall into your food like some traditional basting brushes.
I use these basting brushes on everything from Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Thighs to Air Fryer Salmon.
Rolling Tray for Under Air Fryer
Let’s face it, some air fryers are heavy. Consider this universal rolling tray for under your air fryer to help you move it around your cooking space with ease! You’ll be able to avoid any unfortunate air fryer accidents (like accidentally dropping it!) with a handy tool like this one.
This air fryer accessory is also helpful if your kitchen cabinets prevent you from opening your air fryer. Use the rolling tray to slide it forward when opening, then put it back in its place for storage!
Note: Before you purchase this rolling tray, please take a look a the dimensions and measure your air fryer as well to make sure it fits.
Summing it Up!
Make the most out of your meals with these must-have air fryer accessories! These helpful tools will make it easier to keep your favorite kitchen appliance clean, protect you from getting burned, and will let you know if your food is fully cooked.

Thank you. This information is very useful. I have just bought an air fryer and will be shopping for accessories.
What are the best accessories for a Cosori air fryer toaster, 12-in-1 convection countertop oven 32QT XL ?
Why do they not provide a divider to put across the basket. You could cook two items a the same time.I have a Cosori but they dont provide anything,
That’s one accessory I wish they had too! I haven’t seen anything for most air fryers like that.
Where can I find the assessors? I am looking for a “stainless steel splatter proof lid” for the ALLCOOL air fryer 4.5 quarts. Dimensions are 11.5″D x 11.5″ W x 12.2″ H. Would be interested in others that would work with this fryer as well.
I would try the Cosori 3.7QT accessories for that size. Here is a link to them: https://amzn.to/3hqknI4
I have just been given a Pure Mate air fryer. I didn’t particularly want it & thought I’d never use it – just something else taking up worktop space. Now I love it, use it everyday somehow & wouldn’t be without it. Hence every thought, idea & piece of advice is so welcome. I love your site. All your help & advice is so good. You are just brilliant at what you do. Keep going & thank you
I really appreciate that, Jenny! Thank you!
Hi. Thanks for the tips. I have a Breville smart oven air fryer so the shape is different from the basket models. Could you include accessories for the airfry ovens as well?
I recommend getting larger accessories to use your air fryer to its full potential!
With regard to the accessories listed, do you place these on top of the crisper or do u remove it and place the silicone basket or the parchment paper on top of it
Hi Carolyn,
The parchment paper and the silicone baskets go on top of the tray in the air fryer. They are there to help keep things clean and easy to remove after using your air fryer.
Thanks 🙂
