My easy way to make pizza rolls in the air fryer is crispy, delicious, and ready in minutes! I make these all the time for game day bites, after-school snacks, and beyond.
My Crispy Air Fryer Pizza Rolls
The first time I decided to toss a batch of frozen pizza rolls in the air fryer, it was one of those afternoons where I just didn’t want to make my kids a snack that took any effort. When the kitchen started to smell like a pizza parlor, I had a feeling my moment of non-inspiration was going to pay off.
The pizza rolls came out golden brown, crispy, and so delicious. I even caught my pizza-obsessed 5-year-old son Connor saying to my daughter, “Mmmm, this is my favorite snack!” He also called it a pizza party in his mouth, and I couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
I vowed then and there never to make them any other way again! It was so much faster than the oven, and the outside didn’t get tough like when I cook them in the microwave.
Now, it’s the first snack they ask me to make any time they have friends over and basically every day after school. I’ve also been making them for movie nights and busy afternoons because of how easy they are!

Tips for the Best Totino’s Pizza Rolls in the Air Fryer
- Cook them in a single layer to allow the hot air to flow easier and make them crispier.
- Use Totino’s frozen pizza rolls for the best-tasting version. I find store brands don’t taste as good. I’ve made the triple cheese with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and buffalo-style chicken using my directions.
- Double or even triple the amount depending on the air fryer size. I just use the same time and temperature listed. Just make sure they are in a single layer with some space around them.
- Let them cool after air frying. The insides will be super hot, so I let them cool before taking a bite to avoid burning mine and my kids’ mouths.
- For storage, place the leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat the leftovers in the air fryer at 400 degrees for about 3 minutes.

Dipping Sauce Ideas For Totino’s Pizza Rolls
When it comes to dipping sauces, my kids love pizza sauce, nacho cheese, and classic marinara with a little Parmesan cheese sprinkled on the tops of the pizza rolls. My husband and I usually reach for buffalo sauce, blue cheese, or honey sriracha sauce. Ranch, BBQ sauce, and even honey garlic sauce are always a big hit too!
How Long to Air Fry Pizza Rolls
I find frozen pizza rolls in the air fryer only take about 7 minutes when it’s preheated at 380 degrees F.
Should I Add Oil to the Pizza Rolls?
I’ve noticed that most frozen foods, including Totino’s pizza rolls, already have oil in them because they are already pre-cooked. So, I just take them out of the freezer and toss them into the air fryer to cook without added oil or cooking spray!
How to Reheat Leftover Pizza Rolls in the Air Fryer
I reheat my leftover pizza rolls in an air fryer at 400 degrees for about 3 minutes. I find the higher temperature helps them get crispy again.
Do I need to preheat my air fryer To Air Fry Pizza Rolls?
Yes! I’ve found that preheating the air fryer ensures the pizza rolls cook evenly and come out extra crispy. It’s a small step that makes a big difference in getting that amazing, golden-brown crust!
How do I keep Air Fryer pizza rolls from exploding?
To avoid burst seams, I make sure not to overcrowd the basket and give each roll some space. I also only cook them 7 minutes as they tend to burst when they are overcooked.
Can I double the batch For Totino’s Pizza Rolls in the Air Fryer?
Yes! I cook as many pizza rolls in the air fryer as I can fit in a single layer. If I have any more to cook, I recommend cooking them in multiple batches so they get nice and crispy.

I just purchased the same air fryer you use. Loved to see your recipes.
Read this after I cooked. I put 20 pc at 400 degrees for 12 minutes, no preheat, in a 6 quart air fryer. The results were crunchy, but not burnt, just the way I like them. I was concerned the middle would be very hot like when cooked in the oven, but no problem.
