What Is a Peach Cobbler?
Much like a peach crisp, pie, or crumble, cobblers are known for their juicy fruit fillings and flaky crust. But unlike a crumble, which incorporates oats, a cobbler traditionally features a biscuit-like dough topping.
In this recipe, we deviate slightly from the classic cobbler by using a crispy bisquick topping for that extra layer of flavor and texture. However, you can still expect the delightful combination of sweet peaches and warm crust that defines a peach cobbler!
Tips for Making the Best Individual Peach Cobbler in the Air Fryer
- Use ripe and juicy peaches for the best flavor. Fresh air fryer peaches turn out so divine, but you can also use canned peaches if that’s what you have on hand.
- Coat the peach slices thoroughly with the sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon to create a deliciously sweet and thickened filling.
- Grease your ramekins before adding the peach mixture to prevent sticking and ensure easy removal.
- When preparing the bisquick topping, make sure to evenly distribute the cinnamon for a touch of warm spice in every bite.
- Allow the peach cobbler to cool for a few minutes before serving it with a scoop of ice cream. The contrast between warm and cold makes this peach dessert even more delightful.

The peach cobbler was excellent. We had it two days in a row.
I like your recipes. Thanks for sharing
I’m so glad you’re enjoying it, Sharon! It’s one of my favorite recipes to make this summer!
My Air Fryer and the Air Fryer you are recommending have different heating settings. The recipe says to preheat to 360, is that on the Air Fryer or Bake setting?
I recommend for this recipe using the air fry setting because it is better for higher temperature cooking than the bake setting. However this can vary depending on the desired outcome for the recipe.
I can’t wait to try this!!!
But… what do you recommend ‘greasing’ the ramekins with?
Oil? Spray? Butter? Shortening? Bacon grease? Lard?
So many ‘greasy’ options. 😉
I like to use either a oil butter spray, vegetable oil, or butter! Since it’s inside the ramekin and not the air fryer, PAM is okay as well.
Thanks, Samantha!
