Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Sandwich 

– Boneless skinless chicken breasts – Milk – Dill pickle juice – Large egg, beaten – All-purpose flour – Kosher salt – Paprika – Black pepper – Garlic powder – Cayenne pepper

Cut chicken breast in half. Use a meat mallet to pound them to 1/2-inch thickness.

Step 1

Place chicken in a bowl. Add milk and pickle juice and toss. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, up to 2 hours. Drain well.

Step 2

In a bowl, whisk the egg with milk. In a second bowl, combine the flour, salt, paprika, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne.

Step 3

Dredge the chicken through the flour mixture, then through the egg, then back through the flour until it is well coated.

Step 4

Set aside on a baking sheet for 15 minutes. Place the chicken inside the basket. Spray with cooking oil spray.

Step 5

Air fry for 15 minutes at 400F, then carefully flip the chicken and continue cooking it for 6-8 more minutes.
