Ingredients

  • 1 pound raw carrots
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
  • more honey for drizzling on top optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees and wash, peel, and cut the carrots into 1-inch pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, honey, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add in the carrots and toss together until the carrots are evenly coated.
  • Place the carrots in the air fryer basket or tray in a single layer and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking. They are done when easily poked with a fork, but still a little firm.
  • Drizzle them with a little extra honey (optional) and serve!

Notes

  • If your air fryer only goes up in 10 degree increments, use 380 degrees F.
  • Cook the carrots in a single layer to help them evenly cook.
  • For an even simpler recipe, just use a little oil, salt, and pepper.
  • To reheat the carrots, place them in a preheated air fryer at 350 degrees F and cook for 3-4 minutes, until warmed.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
