How to make Peanut Butter Fudge with Sweetened Condensed Milk

STEP ONE: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.

STEP TWO: Next, combine the peanut butter chips and sweetened condensed milk together and melt until smooth.

You can do so in a saucepan over medium-low heat on the stovetop, or in a large microwave bowl at 30-second increments.

STEP THREE: Spread your no bake peanut butter fudge without confectioners sugar into the prepared dish and allow it to chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours. 

STEP FOUR: Slice into squares and serve!

Making fudge could be considered an art form — like most baked goods!

While you don’t need to load up on a lot of unnecessary ingredients (hello, no bake peanut butter fudge without confectioners sugar), you do need to make sure that the fudge mixture is fully melted and smooth before adding it to the baking dish to cool.

How to store No Bake Peanut Butter Fudge

You’ll have to allow your 2 ingredient no bake peanut butter fudge to set in the fridge.

I also recommend storing it in the refrigerator as well — when stored properly, it will keep for up to 1 week!

Freezing Peanut Butter Fudge with Sweetened Condensed Milk

If you want to make a double batch to freeze for later, you can do that too. Make sure to place it in an airtight freezer-safe container first.

It will keep in the freezer for up to 2 months. Allow it to thaw overnight before serving.

What Causes No Bake Peanut Butter Fudge Not To Harden?

You could end up with mushy 2 ingredient no bake peanut butter fudge if you don’t melt the peanut butter chips and condensed milk enough.
Remember: you want the mixture to be completely smooth. If you leave a few unmelted chips in there it won’t harden the way you want it to.
Make sure to check it before you pour it into the baking dish to set!

  • Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper, set aside.
  • Melt together the baking chips and sweetened condensed milk until smooth (this can be done on medium low heat on the stove top, or in the microwave in a large bowl in 30 second intervals).
